- **Windows** Coming soon
- **Ubuntu** Coming soon

## Mac: opening it the first time

Apple hasn't checked this app yet, so macOS asks you to allow it once.

1. **Open the download** Drag Chord Lens into Applications.
2. **Open Chord Lens** macOS says it can't check it for harmful software. Click Done.
3. **Allow it in System Settings** Privacy & Security → scroll to Security → next to "Chord Lens was blocked", click Open Anyway. Enter your password, then Open Anyway again.
4. **Updates** The app tells you when a new version is out and downloads it for you. Replace the old one in Applications and open it: no Open Anyway after the first time.

Or, in Terminal

`xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Chord Lens.app"`

Intel Macs aren't supported yet: the stem split needs Apple Silicon. The Studio on the web works in any browser.
