04 / 04 · Quick answers
Quick answers.
01Can I hear just the bass in a song?
Yes. The Bass Stem Splitter splits the song into stems, so you can solo the bass to hear the line under the mix, or mute it and play the part yourself.
02How do I find the bass notes from the chords?
Most bass lines land on the chord’s root at the start of each change. AI YouTube to Chords gives you the chords in time, and Chord Shapes draws each one on a bass neck with the root marked.
03Can I slow a bass line down without changing the pitch?
Yes. Slow Down Songs plays the song from quarter speed to double at the same pitch, and you can loop the bars you are learning.
04What does it mean when the band says “go to the 4”?
They are using the Nashville Number System: chords named by their place in the key, so the 4 in C is F. The numbers guide in this path explains it, and the Studio can show any song in numbers.
